Refer a salon

Know another stylist, barber or salon owner who'd like TimeToBook? Share your referral link. They get a free month of TimeToBook Plus, and you earn free Plus months as a thank you.

Finding your link

Go to Settings → Refer a Salon. It's in the Business group in the Settings sidebar.

Your personal link looks like this:

Copy link copies the link so you can paste it anywhere.
Share opens your phone's share sheet with a short ready-made message and your link. On a computer, it copies that message for you to paste into an email or chat.

What they get

When someone signs up through your link, they get 1 extra month of Plus on top of their free trial. The extra month starts when their trial ends.

They just need to open your link and then sign up on the same device. The link is remembered for 30 days, so they don't have to sign up straight away.

What you get

You earn months of Plus in two steps:

1 month once they're up and running, which means they've had five bookings that weren't cancelled.
3 more months when they start paying for Plus or a Team plan. This counts once their trial or free time is over and their first real payment has gone through.

We'll email you each time you earn a reward.

How rewards are applied

If you already pay for Plus or a Team plan, the reward is added to your account as credit worth the Plus price for those months. It comes off your next bills automatically.
Otherwise, you get free Plus time. It's added after any trial or free time you already have, so nothing overlaps. You can bank up to 12 months of free Plus ahead.

When your free Plus has 3 days left, we'll email you a reminder. To keep Plus going after that, click Keep Plus after on the Plus card in Settings → Billing. You won't be charged until your free time runs out. If you do nothing, Plus switches off and you carry on with the free plan.

Tracking your referrals

The Your referrals card in Settings → Refer a Salon shows:

Salons joined: how many salons have signed up through your link.
Plus months earned: your total so far.
If you have free Plus running, the date it runs until.
Each salon you've referred and where they're up to: waiting for their first bookings, taking bookings, or upgraded.

Good to know

Your friend needs to use your link before they sign up. A referral can't be added to an account afterwards.
Each salon can only be referred once, and you can't refer your own business.
Rewards are months of Plus. They can't be swapped for cash.
