Deleting your account

How to permanently delete your TimeToBook account and everything in it, either by emailing support or by asking Tim to send the request for you.

2 min read

There is no delete button inside TimeToBook. Account deletion is done by request instead, so we can check the request really came from you, and because once it's done there is no way back.

There are two ways to ask, and both end up in the same place.

Option 1: email support

Email support@timetobook.com from the address you sign in with and tell us you want your account deleted. A single line is enough:

Please delete my TimeToBook account.

Sending it from your sign-in address is what lets us match the request to your account. If you email from somewhere else we'll ask you to confirm from the right address first.

Option 2: ask Tim to send it for you

Tim is the chat bubble in the bottom-right of every page once you're signed in. Tell him you want to delete your account.

Tim will ask permission before doing anything. Say yes and he emails the support team on your behalf, with your own address set as the reply-to, so our answer arrives in your inbox rather than disappearing into the chat. You don't need to find an address or write anything formal.

Tim can't delete the account himself. He is read-only by design, so all he does is pass the request to a human. More on what he can and can't do in Ask Tim.

What happens next

  1. We reply to confirm it's you and that you understand the deletion is permanent.
  2. You confirm.
  3. We delete the account and everything attached to it, then email you to say it's done.

What gets deleted

Deleting your account removes:

  • Your login, profile and notification preferences
  • Every location on the account, and its booking page
  • Your services, pricing and staff rota
  • Staff records and their invitations
  • Your client list, including contact details, notes and visit history
  • All bookings, past and upcoming
  • Message and reminder history
  • Any images you have uploaded

Your public booking page stops working immediately, so anyone with the link can no longer book with you.

This is permanent. The data is not archived and we cannot restore it later, so if you want to keep a record of anything, save it before you send the request.

If you're unsure, say so when you get in touch. We'd rather talk it through than delete something you wanted back.
